# How-to:

01 - Set oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In an ovenproof skillet or baking dish, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Add light brown sugar and pure maple syrup, stirring until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles, about 2 minutes.
03 - Add sliced pears to the skillet. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and nutmeg, tossing gently to coat. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pears soften and begin to caramelize.
04 - Stir in walnut halves and pure vanilla extract gently to combine flavors.
05 - Transfer skillet or pour contents into a baking dish. Place in preheated oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes until pears are tender and walnuts are toasted.
