02 - Add milk and mix until the cookies are fully soaked and form a thick paste.
03 - Stir in flour, sugar (if using), and baking powder until the mixture is well combined.
04 - Mix in the egg and vanilla extract (if using) until the batter is smooth and uniform.
05 - Microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds. Check doneness; the cake should be set yet moist. Microwave an additional 10–20 seconds if necessary.
06 - Let the mug cake cool for 1 to 2 minutes before serving directly from the mug.
